Mawar began in 2018 when its founder — a business adviser with over fifteen years working alongside small companies in Penang — noticed a gap. Many owners were reaching out for help not because their businesses were failing, but because they felt unclear. They needed someone to sit with them and think carefully, not someone to hand them a framework.
The name Mawar — the Malay word for rose — was chosen deliberately. A rose does not rush its blooming. It grows steadily, with the right conditions. That philosophy shapes everything we do.
We are based in George Town, Penang, and we work with small business owners across Malaysia who want a clearer, calmer view of the road ahead. Our engagements are unhurried, conversational, and always written in plain language.
